The children have been very busy this year tending to the Preschools Vegetable Patch.

They have planted a variety of different Fruits and Vegetables:

Strawberries

Peas

Beans

Potatoes

Lettuces

Sunflowers

Some have been planted directly into the ground and others have been planted into straw bales. This is an experiment to see how well plants can grow in different environments.

The children tend to the Vegetable Patch daily, watering the plants and harvesting the produce.

We also have our trusty Scarecrow Felix on guard to scare away any preditors!!
